Welcoming New Talent

We are excited to welcome a diverse group of new team members who have joined Larson-Danielson throughout 2024:

Celebrating our 2024 new hires

Mark Bailey brought his expertise as a Class A CDL Driver to our team in January. With a focus on delivering tools and equipment across the region, Mark plays a crucial role in ensuring our operations run smoothly.

Andy Musgrave joined us in September as a full-time mechanic, bringing a wealth of experience from his previous roles at D & M Excavating and Miller’s Construction. Andy’s skills in welding, fabrication, and automotive maintenance make him a vital asset to our company.

Elisha Krauth became part of the L-D family in October as a part-time Receptionist. A proud LaPorte native and Ball State University alum, Elisha brings warmth and professionalism to our front desk, along with a love for baking and DIY projects.

Thomas Klochan joined us as a Safety Coordinator in October. Known for his innovative approach and passion for safety, Thomas is committed to ensuring our workers thrive while aligning with our company goals.

Mark Gott became our newest Project Manager in October, following a distinguished 25-year career with the Laborer’s Union (Local 81). His extensive background in Construction Engineering & Management Technology is a tremendous addition to our team.

Honoring Dedication with Career Advancement

We are proud to announce the well-deserved promotions of two outstanding team members:

Stacy Bibian was promoted to Project Engineer in September. Since joining L-D in 1997, Stacy’s dedication and expertise have been nothing short of exemplary. We are excited to see her impact at the Westville Correctional Center jobsite.

Jennifer Waltz is taking on the role of PA Department Manager. With her commitment, knowledge, and leadership, Jen has been a cornerstone of the L-D family since 2006. Her transition promises continued success for our team.

Applauding Our Team’s Outstanding Accomplishments

Finally, we celebrate the outstanding achievements of our team members at Larson-Danielson Construction. This year, we proudly recognized the exceptional performance of several of our employees through our internal awards program.

In addition to her promotion this year, Jennifer Waltz was honored with the 2024 Marilyn Alm Award for her exceptional dedication and outstanding performance. This prestigious award recognizes office personnel who embody the commitment to improvement that Marilyn demonstrated throughout her 35-year career at L-D.

Jeff Reed received the 2024 John Simmons Award for Excellence in Supervision. This award recognizes field personnel who exemplify safety, customer service, quality, productivity, ethical behavior, and a team attitude— values that Jeff embodies every day.

In 2024, we introduced the Star Safety Crew recognition to honor field personnel who demonstrate an unwavering commitment to safety. The inaugural recipients are Brett Schacht, Cory Buckmaster, Tim Kearney, and Phil Piontek. Their dedication to our core value of safety is truly inspiring.
