We played a pivotal role in the industrial construction of GAF’s expansive 200,000-square-foot distribution center for roofing shingles. Strategically located on a 45-acre site with rail spur access, the facility boasts a comprehensive office buildout and a large warehouse designed to meet diverse shipping, receiving, and distribution needs. Key features include four drive-in doors, 13 dock doors, a truck lounge with restrooms, and a dedicated office for the dispatcher/clerk. The office space is thoughtfully designed, featuring private offices, a conference room, an IT room, a spacious break room, and restrooms for both men and women.

New York Blower Manufacturing Building

Larson-Danielson collaborated with Facet Architecture on a cutting-edge, 34,100 square foot facility for long-time client, New York Blower, a leading manufacturer of industrial fans. This state-of-the-art manufacturing building construction features versatile office spaces, including four private offices, a large open office area, two meeting rooms, and two break areas. The advanced shop area is equipped with two 10-ton cranes and three 20-ton cranes, complemented by three overhead doors and two drive-in doors, enhancing operational efficiency and productivity.

After a devastating fire damaged the original structure, the owner turned to the Design/Build experts at Larson-Danielson and Facet Architecture for a comprehensive industrial building construction project. This ambitious venture involved redesigning, rebuilding, and expanding the facility, resulting in a state-of-the-art 37,000 square foot pre-engineered metal building by Butler Manufacturing. The new industrial building construction includes a blend of office space and dedicated areas for truck servicing and washing. Additionally, the facility features an unfinished second floor, strategically designed to accommodate future office space expansion.

Howmet Casting Plant

Larson-Danielson served as the Design/Builder for a 280,000 square foot manufacturing plant for Alcoa/Howmet Power and Propulsion. The facility features a roof height of 45’ with full height separation walls between the different manufacturing processes and high speed doors to allow materials to move swiftly through the facility. The building has an LED light system to meet the strict requirements for light levels required to perform necessary tasks.
