Larson-Danielson has won the competitive bid for a new, four-story men’s dormitory on the campus of the University of Notre Dame. Construction of the 79,500 square foot facility kicked off in November.

The dormitory project is just one of several that Larson-Danielson and the University of Notre Dame are working on together. Some others are the new construction of the Raclin Murphy Museum of Art, renovations at Alumni Hall, a renovation of the Grand Reading Room at Hesburgh Library, and a renovation at Nieuwland Hall.

A History of Success

Larson-Danielson’s relationship with Notre Dame traces its roots to 1922, when we completed a dining hall and chapel as well as a seminary building for the prestigious institution. However, it was in roughly the last 20 years that the relationship began to flourish.

Since 1999, we have completed more than 60 projects for the University of Notre Dame that range from construction of new facilities to renovations, to small repairs and equipment replacement. Much of this work has been completed by Facility Services Group, Larson-Danielson’s small projects specialists.

Since its inception in 1996, Facility Services Group, or FSG, has been devoted to our customers’ smaller projects. With immediate access to the vast resources of Larson-Danielson Construction, FSG offers complete construction services for smaller projects with the quality and service of one of the largest general contractors in Northwest Indiana.

Highlighting the history of our relationships and projects with partners like Notre Dame is one way we demonstration our commitment to our company’s Core Values. Our Core Values are what we believe should guide our behavior at all times.
