Four Winds Field Renovation – Outfield Improvements

Larson-Danielson is the CMc for the multi-million dollar Four Winds Field renovation in collaboration with the City of South Bend. The project involves extensive upgrades and expansions designed to enhance the experience for both fans and players. The improvements are designed to solidify Four Winds Field, home of the South Bend Cubs, as a top destination for baseball and community events.

In June 2025, we completed the Outfield Improvements portion of the project, which includes the new playground, splash pad, and splash pad building, which houses changing rooms/bathrooms and the pump room. This portion also included the new Kid’s Zone, an inflatable area in right field that opened prior to opening day. Our team self-performed playground installation, concrete, general trades, and masonry, including the splash pad building, site, and setting the stones/waterfall.
