Our Commercial Concrete Construction Projects
Mishawaka Riverwalk Extension
Our Concrete Division completed the installation of foundations, site concrete and slab on deck for the extension of the Mishawaka Riverwalk from Race to Cedar. The project included typical sidewalks and site furnishings along the river, along with an elevated walkway, modular and concrete retaining walls.
La Porte Library Parking Lot Improvements
The Concrete Division completed a parking lot resurfacing and expansion project for the La Porte County Public Library‘s main branch in La Porte. The project included milling and resurfacing an existing small lot, as well as the construction of a new, 56-space concrete parking lot with light poles and landscaping.
Morris Performing Arts Center
Our concrete division helped complete Phase I of the renovation of the Morris Performing Arts Center. We led the removal and replacement of the 100-year-old concrete floor. The effort and dedication of our team ensured that the historic charm of the venue was preserved while enhancing its structural integrity.

2024 Outstanding Concrete Project of the Year Award
The Ironworks Plaza Improvements and Riverwalk Extension in Mishawaka took home the 2024 Outstanding Concrete Project of the Year Award from IRMCA, the Indiana Ready Mixed Concrete Association. We served as a concrete subcontractor and worked with Smith Ready Mix and DLZ Indiana on the project.
Marvin’s Garden, Mishawaka Riverwalk extension complete
On Thursday, October 5, 2023 Larson-Danielson employees joined officials and citizens from the City of Mishawaka, members of the 1954 Milan High School state championship basketball team, Mary Lou Wood, and many others at the Marvin’s Garden Park and Sculpture Dedication Ceremony.
Howard Park Awarded LEED Green Building Certification
The renovation of Howard Park, South Bend’s first and oldest park, has been award LEED Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. The $18.8 million renovation project included a 16,000-foot ice trail and pond, fire pits, an accessible playground, a splash pad, walking trails, and a community center with event space.
