Graham Family Hall

In 2022, Larson-Danielson secured the competitive university construction bid for a new four-story men’s dormitory at the University of Notre Dame. This 79,000 square foot residence hall, accommodating up to 262 students, beautifully integrates Notre Dame’s collegiate gothic architecture with its cherished traditions. The design includes a distinctive arched walkway offering east-west pedestrian access. The first floor of this university construction project features communal areas, study spaces, a reading room, and a chapel. The dormitory offers a variety of room types, including single, double, quad, and six-person rooms, with each floor providing community lounges equipped with kitchens. Additional amenities such as fitness and laundry facilities are located on the lower level, and residents can enjoy an outdoor patio on the west side.

Larson Danielson Construction was a great partner on our new Graham Family Hall project. Acting as the General Contractor, we completed the project on time and within budget with quality that any building owner would be proud of. Completing the building that meets the typical construction measurables was always expected from L-D; however, it was the culture of the team that made the entire process pleasurable. The superintendent built an amazing team with the subcontractors, and the Project Management staff was fully transparent with all project details (good and bad). This was an excellent project for the University and we value our relationship with the L-D team.
