Drift on Pine
When a local restaurateur set out to create a new dining destination that highlighted the site’s history and stunning views of Pine Lake, they partnered with Larson-Danielson and Facet Architecture to bring the vision to life. Our team provided pre-construction support during the design phase, including conceptual design and planning, followed by comprehensive trade package services.
Larson-Danielson’s skilled tradespeople completed the concrete, structural steel, and masonry work for the 8,000-square-foot, two-story restaurant. The masonry scope included installation of a thin stone veneer, blending durability with aesthetics to complement the building’s lakeside setting. Drift on Pine features family dining areas, a spacious patio with a fire pit, two rooftop terraces, and three unique bars, all designed to maximize the lakefront experience.
This project showcases Larson-Danielson’s expertise in delivering high-quality concrete and masonry solutions as part of our full range of trade package services.

The idea for Drift came from our passion to build a unique restaurant on a unique piece of property overlooking the lake. We wanted to do something very special for our city of La Porte because it’s where we grew up, and where our family resides. I knew that Larson-Danielson would be a great partner.”
