Alexander Chemical HQ Building

Larson-Danielson served as the general contractor for Alexander Chemical Corporation’s new headquarters in La Porte County. This 11,000 square foot office construction project at Kingsbury Industrial Park involved transforming an old munitions factory. We demolished the upper level, renovated the lower level, and added a new office area. The office features features glue-lam beam framed construction, a 360-degree glass storefront for natural lighting, new office spaces, meeting rooms, and an employee training center. Upgrades like a centrally located security booth, improved parking, and revitalized landscaping enhance functionality. Designed by Dirk Lohan of Lohan Architecture, known for his work at Soldier Field, the project emphasizes sustainability and collaboration, providing space for growth and development.
