FSG Project Manager

Reports To: Director of Facility Services Group

Position Summary

The FSG Project Manager is responsible for estimating, managing, and overseeing assigned Facility Services Group projects while supporting business development and client relationship activities. This role serves as the primary point of coordination between clients, field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, profitably, and in accordance with company quality standards. The FSG Project Manager also contributes to the growth of the department through estimating, sales, and client development efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management
  • Manage all aspects of assigned Facility Services Group projects from initial planning through project completion
  • Coordinate project schedules and activities with clients, field superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Ensure compliance with company project management procedures and operational standards
  • Issue subcontract agreements and material purchase orders as required for project execution
  • Monitor and enforce company safety standards and conduct safety inspections utilizing company-approved tools and procedures
  • Define project scope with clients and collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to develop effective solutions
  • Maintain company quality standards throughout all phases of project delivery  
  • Coordinate with the FSG Field Superintendent to maximize project efficiency, productivity, and profitability
  • Review shop drawings, product data, and material samples with clients and design representatives for approval
  • Review and approve project timesheets, project costs, and client invoice documentation
Estimating & Preconstruction
  • Prepare estimates for assigned projects
  • Develop and issue project proposals to prospective and existing clients
  • Follow up on proposals and maintain communication with clients throughout the sales process
Business Development & Client Relations
  • Support the growth of the Facility Services Group by expanding client relationships, project volume, and revenue opportunities
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and serve as a primary point of contact throughout project execution
  • Collaborate with the Director of FSG and Vice President of Business Development to identify leads, pursue opportunities, and strengthen market presence
  • Promote long-term client satisfaction and repeat business through responsive service and effective communication
Qualifications
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, and/or extensive field experience within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; Bluebeam experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and collaborative professional with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Experience in project management, estimating, subcontractor coordination, and client relationship management preferred
