Howmet Casting Plant #2

Larson-Danielson completed a design/build project for Alcoa/Howmet Power and Propulsion, constructing a 280,000 sq. ft. industrial manufacturing plant for aviation engine parts. The facility features a 45’ roof height to accommodate manufacturing equipment and processes. Full height separation walls and high-speed doors ensure efficient material flow and compliance with strict humidity and temperature requirements. The building includes an advanced LED lighting system to meet specific task lighting needs. A 12” thick floor slab, utilizing over 10,000 cubic yards of concrete, provides the flexibility needed for machinery placement. This project underscores our expertise in industrial construction and design/build services.
